About the Award

This award celebrates resources that use hands-on experiences and playful activities to make Arabic learning interactive. Submissions should showcase how to transform abstract language concepts into engaging activities to help early education students expand their vocabulary, practice sentence structures and build confidence in speaking and using Arabic.


Illustrative examples of submissions: 

  • Arabic gamified tools to support playful learning
  • Role-play activities encouraging children to use Arabic in new and broader ways
  • Board games designed to teach Arabic through friendly competition

Eligibility

Open to all educators across public, private and charter schools in Abu Dhabi.

Submission Requirements

Your submission must include the following:

Resources submitted for this award needs to be developmentally appropriate and support the learning experience for students aged 1 – 6 years old (nurseries, KG 1 and KG 2).

Must support the development of Arabic language as children participate in playful learning experiences.

Must integrate play into Arabic language learning activities to encourage children to become socially confident and competent.

Fosters the use of activities connected to the national culture and heritage.

Uses age-appropriate teaching practices.

Must be inclusive for children of all needs and backgrounds.
