About the Award
This award celebrates programs that enhance Arabic language skills through artistic activities that enable young students to creatively express ideas, words and/or emotions, expanding their vocabulary and linguistic abilities through art.
Illustrative examples of submissions:
- Expression drawings using diverse materials to learn emotions in Arabic
- Sensory activities that link artistic expression with Arabic literacy and numeracy
- Expressive arts using different mediums such as storytelling with art, role play or interactive word games in Arabic

Cash prize for the winner.
Participation
Eligibility
Open to all educators across public, private and charter schools in Abu Dhabi.
Submission Requirements
Your submission must include the following:
Resource submitted for this award needs to be developmentally appropriate and support the learning experience for students aged 1 – 6 years old (nurseries, KG 1 and KG 2).
Must create a learning environment that helps develop Arabic language skills and supports proficiency through art.
Fosters the use of art disciplines in context of national identity and teaches children in the early years different artistic methods to express themselves and learn.
Uses creative, engaging and age-appropriate teaching practices.
Must be inclusive for children of all needs and backgrounds.
