About the Award
This award celebrates the creative and appropriate integration of technology to bring the Arabic language learning to life. It provides personalized and adaptive learning experiences that meet the needs of children, enabling connections beyond the classroom by allowing children to hear authentic Arabic from native speakers, engage in interactive language games and accessing culturally rich content. In addition, it makes learning Arabic both dynamic and relevant to the world in which children are growing up.
Illustrative examples of submissions:
- Digital storytelling tools that enable children to create and share stories
- Interactive digital games for practicing Arabic skills
- Programmable robots used to encourage communication and language learning in Arabic

Eligibility
Open to all educators across public, private and charter schools in Abu Dhabi.
Submission Requirements
Your submission must include the following:
Should incorporate AI into early education Arabic language learning.
Resource submitted for this award needs to be developmentally appropriate and support the learning experience for students aged 1 – 6 years old (nurseries, KG 1 and KG 2).
Provides a balance of digital screen time and hands-on activities.
Allows for the accumulation of digital portfolios and progress reports to monitor student language learning progress.
Fosters the integration of national culture, history and heritage through digital tools and games.
Must be inclusive for children of all needs and backgrounds.
